Douglas has completed many paintings of Scottish Highland animals; Stags are popular commissions on large block canvas.   Dramatic and in some cases startling portraits of a common sight in the Scottish Highlands. Our local area around Newtonmore is home to both herds of Red deer and the smaller Roe deer.

There is something engaging about sheep;  a very common sight in the Highlands.

Highland Coos
